Challenge / Goal

The CAAP aims to cut emissions of diesel particulate matter (DPM), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx) and greenhouse gases (GHGs) from port sources, while supporting the ports' economic growth and competitiveness.

Solution

The CAAP identifies strategies to reduce pollution from every source, such as implementing clean truck programs, vessel pollution reduction programs, technology advancement programs, and zero-emission initiatives.
