Challenge / Goal

The goal is primarly to contribute to the European Green Deal and the national strategies towards climate neutrality by developing a roadmap for the implementation of hydrogen infrastructure and hydrogen-based transport and propulsion technologies in shipping.

Solution

to Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the basic principles and implementation potential of hydrogen supply along the Danube, to involve relevant stakeholders in network development and active dialogue, to explore the development potential of ports as hydrogen hubs, and to consider the international rollout of the solutions in the Danube region.
